3 commands you can send to Google Now from the Web

If you're using Google Now on your Android, Google.com has added a few new commands you can send directly to your device. These commands allow you to skip picking up your device when it's not convenient: like at your workplace, or if your phone is on a charger in another room of your home.
In order to use the new commands, you'll need to make sure Google Now is enabled for your device, open the Search app, head to Menu > Settings > Now cards, and then enable Show cards and Show notifications. You may also need to turn on Web & App Activity at this link. Finally, make sure Chrome on the computer is signed-in to your Google account.
Once everything is connected, try out the new commands by typing them directly into the Google.com search box within your Chrome desktop browser:

Set an alarm

When setting an alarm, you can pick the device that will conjure it at the specified time.

Set/make a note

Like alarms, you can pick the device where your note will appear.

For all of these, you can just type the command into Google, or you can type out all of the details with it. For example: "set a reminder to pay car insurance on June 1" will produce the above image.
